Liu Bang, also known as Emperor Gaozu, was the founder and first emperor of the Han Dynasty in China. Born in 256 BCE in Pei County, he was a commoner who rose to power through his military successes and political savvy.
In 206 BCE, Liu Bang led a rebellion against the Qin Dynasty, which had ruled China for over two decades, and emerged victorious, establishing the Han Dynasty. During his reign, he implemented numerous reforms that helped stabilize the economy and promote social welfare, including the abolition of harsh legal penalties and the distribution of land to peasants.
Liu Bang was known for his compassion and humility, and he was greatly respected by his subjects. He ruled for 12 years, from 202 BCE to 195 BCE, and upon his death, was succeeded by his son, Emperor Hui.
Today, Liu Bang is remembered as one of the most important figures in Chinese history, whose legacy shaped the political and cultural landscape of China for centuries to come.

The Royal coat of arms of the Liu family is an emblematic representation of their legacy and profound influence in Chinese history. The illustrious May Liu, the 73rd descendant of the royal family Liu, designed the crest. She currently holds the esteemed position of noble chivalry member of Art and Humanity Consul, issued by the Imperial Order of Culture and Peace. Additionally, May Liu has received the Presidential Volunteer Gold Award signed by US president Joe Biden, serves as the president of Superstar Art Foundation, and is the president of the Royal Han Family Office Fund.
